Michaela Conley, Relationship Specialist

As a relationship specialist trained in both the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy, I am passionate about supporting couples in their quest to create, repair and nurture their most precious resource, their relationships.

My approach is to hold a nonjudgemental, accepting space both in person and virtually for anyone who wishes to work towards a deeper understanding of themselves and/or their relationship, the intimate bond that holds people together through life’s twists and turns. Further, I am able to provide additional education and experiencing through, NeuroMeditation, neuro and bio-feedback along with expertise in Lifestyle Medicine topics.

I support people in all configurations and orientations including monogamy, polyamory, 2slgbtqia+, ENM, BDSM & Kink. As the Beatles say “All ya need is love, love, love is all ya need”.

My Focus

Licensed Associate Marriage & Family Therapist,

Coach, Health Educator, Lifestyle Medicine Diplomat & NeuroMeditation Instructor

Throughout my 25+ year career beginning in employee health promotion where I was responsible for taking care of all the people who in turn, took care of the cat: Garfield.  Subsequently, I founded several entrepreneural ventures in health promotion including:

  • HPCareer.Net which advertises jobs in health promotion.
  • HPLive.org provided free live webinars. It was my way of taking action when no one had a budget to participate in conferences due to the 2008 economic recession. I sought out and invited hundreds of nationally & internationally recognized experts who readily agreed to contribute their time and knowledge in support of health promotion professionals across the US.
  • In 2013, I founded State of Wellness. Through a collaborative agreement with CDC, the Centers for Disease and Health Promotion we train individuals to become Lifestyle Coaches to deliver the National Diabetes Prevention Program across the US and around the world on Military bases and US protectorates such as the Pacific Islands and Guam.

Along the way, I’ve been featured in two books on entrepreneurship and recognized by National Health Organizations for my contributions to the fields of health education, health promotion and coaching. I am grateful for the people and places I have known and learned from.

My Credentials

In support of my clients and my perpetual curiosity, I strive to continuously expand and deepen my knowledge and training of evidence-based approaches to stress and resilience such as HeartMath and Neuro Meditation, lifestyle Medicine and overall support for fulfilling human connection through the Gottman Institute and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
